چکیده
In this work, the fresh leaves and inflorescences of Humulus lupulus L. cv. Chinook hops were investigated in order to describe their chemical composition evaluate biological activities. The analyses carried out first on untreated samples then pulverized ones using SPME-GC-MS technique. total, forty-two molecules belonging different classes identified, among these, twenty-three terpene compounds. carry activity assays, powders subjected extraction with two solvents (methanol distilled water) by stirring subsequent sonication at room temperature. To chemically characterize extracts, methanolic analyzed direct injection into GC-MS apparatus, while aqueous DI-SPME-GC-MS. addition, aim obtain information non-volatile content they also derivatization, silylated derivatives GC-MS. antioxidant was evaluated means DPPH ABTS assays after determination total polyphenols flavonoids. greatest effects observed extracts rather than ones. Furthermore, a preliminary study cytotoxic power conducted three human cancer cell lines, such as non-small lung (H1299), melanoma (A375) breast (MCF7). obtained results showed that induced marginal effect reducing tumor, proliferation.

detection of volatile compounds of medicinal plants with some nano-sorbents using modified or new methodologies and investigation of antioxidant activity of their methanolic extracts
in this work, a novel and fast method for direct analysis of volatile compounds (davc) of medicinal plants has been developed by holding a filament from different parts of a plant in the gc injection port. the extraction and analysis of volatile components of a small amount of plant were carried out in one-step without any sample preparation. after optimization of temperature, extraction time a...

Volatile constituents of essential oils isolated from flowers and leaves of Eupatorium cannabinum L. from Iran
Hydro-distilled volatile oils from the flowers and leaves of Eupatorium cannabinum L. which gathered in Touchal on Mountain Alborz (Tehran province) in Iran were investigated mainly by a combination of GC and GC/MS. Thirty-nine components were identified in the oils. The main constituents of the essential oils in flowers and leaves were germacrene D (27.3%, 37.1%), gemacrene B (12.4%, 11.7%) an...
